Lexington's Vintage Signs

While all three of Lexington's historic house museums--Buckman Tavern, Munroe Tavern, and the Hancock-Clarke House--will be open for ticketed guided tours the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, the public is also invited on Saturday, November 24th, to a special free exhibit upstairs at Buckman Tavern. "Lexington's Vintage Signs" has been curated by the Lexington Historical Society from its collection. Come see an original sign advertising a new housing development called Peacock Farm. Learn about town businesses long gone from our streetscape by viewing their surviving logos and advertising plaques. The "Signs" exhibit will be open the same hours as the Tavern and its Museum Shop, 10-4.
