At around 7:30, we’ll go across the street to First Baptist Church of Lexington, 1580 Massachusetts Ave, to see and hear the corps practice.

Find out more about learning how to play the fife or drum.  No experience is necessary.  Weekly lessons are provided.  We will teach you how to read music if you do not already know how.

The William Diamond Junior Fife and Drum Corps has been invited to play in some unique and historic places near and far including Walt Disney World, Switzerland, Colonial Williamsburg, the 250th NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the U.S.S. Constitution, the grand re-opening of the Boston Tea Party Museum, Logan Airport, Old Sturbridge Village, and Lexington's own Patriots' Day Parades.   Next year we'll go back to Colonial Williamsburg and in 2015, we'll travel to England.

It is enjoyable activity for kids and families alike and a terrific way to celebrate our nation’s heritage.  Plus, the young people have a lot of fun with one another.
