Community Corner
Holiday Festival Night @ Cary LIbrary
Stop by for delicious refreshments, music and fun. Cary Library will also be offering members of the community some unique shopping opportunities: select a book in honor of someone you love (Each selection will be book-plated and will become part of the Library collection) or grab a bag of books, specially chosen by the Friends of the Library.
Again this year Cary Library will present the Local Author Book Fair, a display and book sale by several local authors. Take advantage of this fun opportunity to discover new books and talk one-on-one with local authors about the books they have written. Featured authors will include Jan David Blais, Joan Bines, Jane Sutton, and Nevin Katz. As a special bonus, copies of Lexington’s 300th Anniversary Book will also be available for purchase.
Festival Night entertainment will
include perennial favorites Julie Metcalf (fiddle) and Eric Eid-Reiner
(keyboard) performing lively traditional and recently-composed folk tunes from
around the world. From 7:00-7:30 p.m.
the LHS Madrigal Singers will entertain us.

(5:30-6:30 p.m. and 7:30-8:00 p.m.) and lots more.
So drop in at the Library from 5:00 to 8:00
