Lexington Community Education presents: An Evening with Peter Diamond, Recipient of the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences

Lexington Community Education is pleased to offer an evening with Dr. Peter Diamond.  Dr. Diamond will speak on current issues relating to the global economy.  Dr. Peter A. Diamond, one of the world's leading economists, is an Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was awarded (jointly) the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 2010, for his work analyzing and developing a theoretical framework for “search markets,” which has helped explain why there are simultaneous job vacancies and unemployment on the labor market. Dr. Diamond is known for his analysis of United States Social Security policy and served as an advisor to the Advisory Council on Social Security in the 1980s and 1990s.

The cost for this evening's event is $10.00.  Pre-registration is strongly recommended, using a VISA or MasterCard, by contacting LCE at 781 862 8043.
