Lexington Resident to Star in SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!!

Framingham-based MOONSTRUCK THEATER COMPANY, in association with Amazing Things Art Center, is pleased to present SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!!, opening Friday, July 18, and running for four performances through July 20. Performances will take place at Amazing Things Art Center, 160 Hollis St., Framingham, MA.


SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!! is an original musical revue about putting on a musical revue, featuring songs from all of your favorite Broadway shows and Hollywood films.  Musicals featured include Moulin Rouge, Anything Goes, Wicked, West Side Story, Hairspray, Pippin, The Producers, Mamma Mia, Les Miserables, and Frozen--and many more!

The production features 20 performers from the Boston and MetroWest regions, including Karina Wen of Lexington.


SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!! features Lexington resident Karina Wen
, singing “Waiting For Life” from the 1990 musical Once On This Island, as well as performing in all the ensemble numbers. Karina has been involved with local theatre for the last five years, and performing music since she was very small. Her favorite role to date is The Witch in Sondheim’s Into The Woods.


On why you should come see SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!!, Karina says:  “Our show  nothing but the best of fifteen to twenty musicals, and yet it manages to have a plot of some kind. You get to see and hear  the highlights from all these different shows and still feel like you're being told a story!” Karina is a rising Junior at Lexington High School.

The show is directed by Matthew Sherman and music directed by Samantha Prindiville. The production will be presented at Amazing Things Art Center, Framingham, MA.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $24 for senior citizens and students, $22 for Amazing Things Members, and $13 for children 12 and under.
