Patriots' Day Troop 160 Pancake Breakfast

Each year on the morning of Patriots' Day, the Boy Scouts of Lexington Troop 160 host their legendary Pancake Breakfast.  The sole fundraiser for the Troop for the year, the proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast help to ensure that all kids can join Scouts and participate in activities regardless of their ability to pay.  The Scouts meet weekly during the school year, go on weekend camping trips that build character and independence, and spend 2 weeks each summer camping together in the woods of New Hampshire.  The Scouts serve the community throughout the year via multiple service projects, such as staffing charity race check-points, raising the flag at Memorial and Veterans Day parades, handing out bottled water during emergencies, and clearing the Minuteman Bike Path of debris from rough storms.

Troop 160 invites everyone to join us for a hearty breakfast at hard-to-beat prices: $6 per adult and $4 per child (under the age of 12).  We open immediately after the Battle of Lexington Reenactment on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 5:30am, in Keilty Hall in the basement of St. Brigid Church (newly renovated and now handicapped accessible).  We keep serving until 10:00am, so you don't necessarily have to be up before dawn to enjoy a great breakfast infused with the spirit of community for which Lexington is famous.

We hope to see you there,

Katie Sultan, Alison MacLaughlin, and Hank Manz
