The Rising Star Quilters Guild will hold its annual quilt show at Cary Hall, 1605 Mass Ave., Lexington   Saturday, October 26 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday October 27 from 11 am to 4 pm.  More than 140 quilts will be on display.  We are featuring the quilts of our very active junior members, ages 7-14.  They will talk about their quilts and demonstrate yoyos.   In addition to the bed, wall and challenge quilts and quilted objects on display, hand crafted items will be available for sale in the Boutique;  there will be scavenger hunts for children and adults;  a café selling hot beverages and bakery goods; basket and mini quilt raffles.  Chances to win our raffle quilt, Autumnal Stars are available for $1 each or 6 for $5. Vendors offer fabric, thread and other notions for sale. Rising Star Quilters Guild is proud to donate quilts to Germaine Lawrence in Arlington, REACH Beyond Domestic Violence and Welcome Baby, and to support the New England Quilt Museum in Lowell.

Admission to the show is $6. Children 12 years old and under are admitted free.  The building is handicap accessible and there is free parking in the lot behind the building along the bicycle trail.  For more information and a photo of the raffle quilt visit www.risingstarquilters.org
