Sudbury Colonial Faire and Muster of Fyfe & Drums

A fun event for the whole family, the Sudbury Colonial Faire and Muster of Fyfe & Drums has delighted generations of Middlesex County residents and their friends from all over New England for almost 50 years.  See the Sudbury Minutemen's change-of-command ceremony interrupted by His Majesty's regulars which leads to a pitched battle between the local militia, their French allies and the ministerial troops.  Beginning at noon, you'll enjoy fyfe & drum music performed by two dozen corps hosted by the Sudbury Ancient Fyfe & Drum Companie.

There will be more than 40 vendors of colonial reproductions (and some modern wares), living history demonstrations, including 18th C. dance, games and activities for the children as well as food from several local purveyors.

This is the largest annual gathering of fyfe & drum corps in central New England and the biggest event of the year for the Sudbury Minutemen.  Come, immerse yourself in colonial atmosphere and help us celebrate a half century of living history.

Rain or shine - Admission $2.00; children under twelve free
