The Path of Compassion from a Buddhist Perspective Presentation by guest speaker Wendy Garling

To benefit the young vulnerable children who live in the slums of Kampala, Uganda and who are supported by the Clover Foundation, guest speaker Wendy Garling, a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner, will share sutras, stories and poetry from early Buddhist literature and lead a discussion exploring the relevance and benefit of this ancient wisdom in our lives and world today.

Clover is currently operating a free daycare and preschool for children in Busega, a slum area within Kampala, Uganda.  The children who attend Clover would otherwise be on the street during the day while their parents try to scratch out a meager living.  The Clover Foundation provides healthy meals and a safe environment in which the children socialize, play, and begin the learning process that will prepare them to succeed in school.

Requested donation to the Clover Foundation for participating is $100 (session is limited to 30 people). Call 978.729.5321 or email info@clover-foundation.org to reserve your place.
