Tisha b'Av Observance - Leonard Bernstein's "Lamentation" performed
Temple Emunah will observe Tisha b'Av by introducing this day of mourning
on Monday, July 15, at 8:00PM with a performance of "Lamentation"
from Leonard Bernstein's "Jeremiah Symphony", performed by Mezzo-Soprano Sophie
Michaux and pianist Artem Belogurov. Bernstein's powerful music will, help us appreciate the significance of Tisha b'Av.
The performance will be followed by the chanting of the Scroll of Lamentations, Megillat Eikhah, by candlelight.
