More Than 150 Students Performed in Last Month's String Concert

Lexington High School's three orchestras performed for parents and community members last month.

More than 150 Lexington High School students in three orchestras performed in last month's String Concert. Under the direction of Janet Haas and Rachel Jayson the Repertoire Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra  played selections by Brendan McBrien, SoonHe Newbold, and Vaughan Williams. Berklee College of Music student teacher, Edward Skipka, conducted pieces with the Repertoire and Chamber Orchestras.
