Students put FOLMADS Grant to Good Use

Click! In the blink of an eye, students take advantage of a FOLMADS grant.

The Lexington High School students in Damian Barneschi's art class are reaping the benefits of one of FOLMADS recent grants. Last spring, FOLMADS approved Barneschi's grant proposal to purchase six new Canon Rebel EOS T3 cameras.

This fall, Barneschi, the Digital Imaging instructor at LHS, had his students take pictures of eachother with the cameras--just the beginning of their semester-long learning about digital imaging. The Digital Imaging course is open to all students who have taken Foundations of Art and covers both the technical aspects of using digital cameras and the artistic aspects of creating a well composed image.
