Lexington Honors Our Nation's Heroes

Lexington honored those who risked their lives to protect our safety during its annual Veterans Day services and parade on Monday. 

The parade will started at 10 a.m. at the Police Station and traveling along Massachusetts Avenue with participants stopping to lay wreaths at: 

• Korean/Vietnam Memorial in front of Cary Hall, 1605 Massachusetts Avenue 
• WW II Memorial next to the Visitor's Center, 1875 Massachusetts Avenue 
• Old Soldier’s Memorial next to Buckman Tavern, 1 Bedford Street 
• Revolutionary War Monument and the POW/MIA Memorial on the Battle Green before the Parade returns to the Cary Memorial Building for ceremonies.

The Veterans Day Ceremonies was in Battin Hall. This year's speaker was COL Robert F. McLaughlin, US Army Lexington Native and Lexington High School class of 1981.
