Lexington's 300th: Flash Dance

A peek at another exciting aspect of this Saturday's opening ceremonies.

The following was provided by the Lexington 300th Committee.

On Saturday, Sept. 22, join Thelma Goldberg and her fabulous Dance Inn dancers in a Flash Dance to celebrate Lexington's 300th anniversary!

A Flash Dance is an easy (but fun!) routine that brings the town together as a community joined in rhythm. If you’ve got two left feet and need a little practice, or if you just love to dance and can’t wait to get in the groove, you can watch a preview of the dance at on the Lexington's 300th website or in the video above.

Dancers and nondancers of all ages are invited to join in.

The Flash Dance will be part of the 300th Opening Events. It will start at 11:45 a.m. on the field inside the high school track, right before the All-Town Photo (in the same location).
