VIDEO: Afterburner and a Little Lexingtonian Groove to Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep'

The Air Force Band of Liberty's rock outfit, Afterburner, performed as part of the opening day festivities of Lexington's 300th birthday celebration.

Two questions and Airman Ashley Cook strode out toward the bright blue track and the crowd behind it. They were: "Do you like Adele?" and did anyone want to perform with her.

With answers to both firmly in the affirmative, the vocalist for Afterburner, the Air Force Band of Liberty's rock band, launched into Adele's "Rolling in the Deep." A young girl joined her in dancing around the track and the crowd pitched in on the chorus.

Afterburner provided the entertainment for the time between the opening ceremonies and all-town photograph on Saturday, Sept. 22, the opening day of a nine-month birthday bash to celebrate Lexington's 300th.
