Visit Lexington's Home for Survivors of Brain Injuries

Visit the Douglas House this Saturday.

Supportive Living Inc.’s most recently developed residence for survivors of brain injury the Douglas House is having an open house on Saturday. The Douglas House is welcoming members of the community to visit their home.

"As survivors of brain injury our disability is often misunderstood, yet you have welcomed us into your homes, churches and businesses with open arms," the invite states. "In return we invite you to our home."

The open house will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The Douglas House is located at 7 Oakland Street. This is the location's 5th anniversay and the project was partially funded with Community Preservation Act funds which were used to renovate the historic former Lexington Press building for affordable housing for brain-injured adults.
