WANTED: Parade Marshals for Lexington's 300th/Patriots' Day Parade

The Town Celebrations and 300th Celebration committees are soliciting nominations for parade marshals for next year's Patriots' Day Parade, for which the theme is "We Are Lexington."

Here's the press release provided by the Town Celebrations/300th Celebration Committee:

Because no one individual can fully personify the 2013 Patriots’ Day/ 300th Anniversary parade theme of  “We Are Lexington”,  the Town Celebrations Committee will select a group of Lexington residents who collectively represent the whole spectrum of Lexington’s political, cultural, economic, and social heritage from  the town’s establishment in 1713 to the present day.

The committee invites nominations of groups of 8 to 12 persons to serve as Grand Marshals for the 2013 Patriots Day/300th Anniversary Parade (Sunday, April 14, 2013). Groups should be diverse and should address the theme “We Are Lexington” as broadly as possible. Please reply to lexingtontcc@gmail.com by September 15.
