Barrett Hears from Voters on 'Educate the Candidate' Tour

Barrett continues his "Educate the Candidate" tour.

Mike Barrett, Democrat running for the local State Senate seat, is holding “Educate the Candidate” meetings in July and August.  Endorsed by Cong. Barney Frank, former State Sen. Carol Amick and State Rep. Jay Kaufman – and informed by 17 years each in the private and public sectors – Barrett emphasizes environmental protection, education, healthcare, human services and the economy.

Last Saturday, Barrett was outside Hannaford Supermarket in Waltham, talking to people about jobs and the effect of rising healthcare costs on working families. "Educate the Candidate" returns to Waltham on Saturday, Aug. 25.
