Obituary: Beloved Family Man Robert McCullough Jr., 71

The following is an obituary from Douglass Funeral Home

McCullough, Robert H., Jr. of Lexington, passed away Jan. 15, 2014, after complications from a fall. He was 71.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife, Elaine (DiSilva) of 51 years, and seven children. They are Robert (Lee) of Lexington, Mark (Laura) of Lexington, Marisa Tejada (Chris) of Acton, Jill Foley (Kevin) of Lexington, Alexander (Dawn) of Concord, Gretchen McCullough of Nahant, and Seth McCullough (Anne Margaret) of Waltham, and was beloved Grampa to 22 grandchildren.

Robert also leaves his devoted brothers, Chuck of Mattapoissett, Scott of Newton, NH, and his sisters Sally Lobo of Waltham, Deborah Lockhart of Holliston, and Rebecca Petersen of Princeton. Robert leaves a large family of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who love him very much.

He graduated Waltham High School, class of '60, and attended Bentley. He was a member of Locals 4 and 25. He worked many years in construction and trucking industries. His family, friends, Oreo, home, and garden were everything to him.

Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 worthen Rd. Lexington Tuesday Jan. 21 at 9am followed by a service at Christ Episcopal Church, 750 Main St. Waltham at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 3pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Jennifer's Gift of Hope, P.O. Box 108, Maynard, MA 01754. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
