Sheila Martin, Resident of Lexington

Sheila Dolores (Goldfarb) Martin of Lexington died on Aug. 22.

She was married to her huband Fred H. Martin for 54 years, according to an obituary on the Levine Chapels website.

She was the mother of Stacey Mastromatteo and her husband Tony, Adam J. Martin and his wife Lillian, Erica Martin and her husband Mark Rosenthal; grandmother of Max, Caleb, Eliza, Lucas, Asher, Ethan, Tyler, Jared, and Emmett; sister of Felice Toonkel; and the daughter of the late Michael and Frieda Goldfarb.

Services will be held at Temple Isaiah, 55 Lincoln St. in Lexington, on Monday Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Lexington. A Meal of Condolence will be offered at Sheila and Fred's home, 29 Dewey Road in Lexington until 8 p.m. Shiva will be held at their home on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances are suggested to the following: "Facing Cancer Together;" "Hospice of the Good Shepherd" of Newton; "Hope Hospice" of Martha's Vineyard.
