$10K in Jewelry Stolen from Home, Woman Arrested on Motor Vehicle Charge

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, October 15-

At 9:58 a.m. a Marrett Road caller reported a suspicious vehicle. Vehicle had been parked on property overnight.

At 11:14 a.m. there was a vehicle fire on Route 128.

Wednesday, October 16-

At 12:48 a.m. there was a noise complaint concerning loud music on Judges Raod.

A 10:56 a.m. there was a report of a larceny from a building. Sometime between July 26 and the time of the call roughly $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a house. No sign of forced entry. Under investigation.

At 3:15 p.m. While on patrol officers found several youths with a non-criminal amount of marijuana. One person was arrested on an outside warrant. Police arrested Justin R. Elazegui, 25, 16 Quirk Court, Newton outside warrant for restraining order violation.

 

Thursday, October 17-

Arrests: 

Police arrested Kimberly Barnard, 40, of 139 Belmont St., Belmont on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

Police also placed a Lexington man into protective custody.

At 9:59 a.m. there was an oil spill at 400 Shire Way, Lexington.

At 2:07 p.m. a Buckman Drive caller reported a suspicious vehicle in their driveway. 

At 4:13 p.m. there was a report of a tree on wires on Oakland Street.
