An Arlington woman was arrested earlier today, May 14, after allegedly entering a home next door to in East Lexington.
According to a police report, officers responded to a Lowell Street residence for a reported housebreak and found a man arguing with an unknown woman he allegedly found inside his home. The woman, later identified as Sandra Abboud, 52, of 27 Fox Meadow Lane, Arlington, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with the intent to commit a felony.
The man and woman reportedly first exchanged words as she looked at flowers outside the Busa Farms farmstand, but he only involved the police after finding her inside his home, in the hallway area between the side entrance and kitchen.
The woman was reportedly found empty-handed inside the home and it’s unclear what she was doing there, according to Captain Joe O’Leary.
Abboud appeared to be very nervous, upon the arrival of police and reportedly begged them not to place her under arrest, allegedly saying, “I know I did a bad thing, but it’s not a big deal,” according to the police report.
