Craft Fair for Charity at Lexington Farmers Market

Five things to know today.

Today is Tuesday, September 17. Here are five things to know: 

1) Sunny but cool-ish 

Looks like a nice clear day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a high near 62 degrees. Clear tonight and cool with a low around 36. 

2) Public meetings 

The Policy Manual Committee is meeting at 9 a.m. in the Town Office Building- Selectmen Meeting Room. The Board of Health is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Town Office Building, Parker Room. Click here for a full list of meetings. 

3) Crafts and Food for Charity

There will be a charity event at the Lexington Farmers Market starting at 2 p.m. featuring crafts from local craftspeople. Foods, items and activities donated by Farmers' Market vendors will also be auctioned, with the proceeds donated to charity. 

4) Back to School Night 

Minuteman High School is holding a back to school night starting at 6 p.m. Parents and guardians are welcome.  For more information please call 781-861-6500.

5) Mystery and Suspense Writing

Lexington High School's Community Education program is hosting a three-part Introduction to Mystery and Suspense Writing starting on Tuesday. The classes will be led by Andrew McAleer. Click here for more information
