Home Break-In With Jewelry and Electronics Stolen

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, August 26-

At 1:02 a.m. a Cedar Street caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle.

At 8:49 a.m. there was a report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering on Concord Avenue. Resident reports between 8 a.m. the night before and the time of the call his wallet was taken from unlocked vehicle in his driveway. $100 in cash and credit cards taken.

At 2:01 p.m. police responded to a call of a residential breaking and entering on Fulton Road. Sometime between 1 p.m. on Aug. 23 and 1:30 on Aug. 26 a residence was entered through a window. Also damage reported to rear door. Taken were two laptops, an iPod, silverware set and miscellaneous jewelry. No value given.

At 10:55 a.m. animal control responded to a loose dog on Wilson Road.

At 1:25 p.m. there was a report of illegal dumping at a junkyard on Allen Street. Debris from a construction site dumped. Investigation to try and locate source of waste ongoing.

At 2:19 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious person on Solomon Pierce Road. Caller reports there are people at her door that would not go away. Caller stated the people were going door to door. Apparently there was a misunderstanding and party was there for a scheduled appointment. 

At 7:39 p.m. police responded to an unattended campfire on North Street.

At 8:18 p.m. police responded to a report of theft from the Boston Sports Club on Bedford Street. A wallet with credit cards reported stolen from a locker. Officer spoke to the party who said items were taken out of an unlocked locker between 6:45 and 7:45 p.m. credit cards, checks, student ID and $60.
