Home Break-Ins With Jewelry Stolen, Vehicle Vandalized

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, December 6-

Police placed a Waltham man into protective custody. 

At 11:39 a.m. there was a report of a hit and run accident on Massachusetts Avenue.

At 7:09 p.m. there was a report of a Burglary/Breaking and Entering on Cider Mill Lane. A resident reported a rear sliding door was smashed sometime between 5:15 and 7 p.m. It was unclear at the time if anything was missing. Currently under investigation.

At 7:31 p.m. there was a report of a Burglary/Breaking and Entering on Dewey Road sometime between 5 and 7:30 p.m. A rear sliding back door was smashed and jewelry was missing.

Saturday, December 7-

At 2:02 a.m. there was a noise complaint for a loud house party on Kitson Park Drive.

Sunday, December 8-

At 11:15 a.m. there was a report of vandalism- damage to property on Gleason Road. A caller reported the antennae of their motor vehicle was snapped off while parked on the street. The caller believed it happened night before.

At 2:53 p.m. there was a report of larceny/theft from a building on Diamond Road.

At 9:45 p.m. a Lexington Ridge Drive caller reported annoying phone calls.
