House Break-in With Cash and Jewelry Stolen, Man Arrested for Motor Vehicle Infraction

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, December 9-

At 5:24 p.m. there was a report of Burglary/Breaking and Entering on Linmoore Terrace. Resident called to report their house was broken into sometime after 6 p.m on Dec. 6. A rear sliding glass door was smashed and cash and jewelry taken.

Tuesday, December 10-

Police arrested Narcelio Soares Ferreira, 37, of 28 Williams St., Medford, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Arrest made at 12:18 p.m. on Massachusetts Avenue.

At 2:02 a.m. police cited a driver on Bedford for operating without a license.

At 3:04 p.m. there was a report of shoplifting on Massachusetts Avenue. A 15 year old juvenile female was caught with $7.75 worth of candy. Handled civilly.

At 8:56 p.m. there was a report of a robbery on Marrett Road. an employee of McDonalds at the rest stop off the highway reported that while taking the trash out he was approached by unknown male and was told give him his wallet wallet. The victim gave his phone and wallet and the phone was located in the parking lot. Still under investigation.
