Lexington Fire Department Gets New Members

Lexington's Douglas A. Boudrow and Robert L. Palardy were among the 24 graduates at a ceremony last week.

Lexington Fire Department recruits Douglas A. Boudrow and Robert L. Palardy joined the 203rd graduating class of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy's Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program last week.

According to State Fire Marshal Stephen Coan, the forty-five day program is designed to provide new firefighters with basic skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively, providing training on topics ranging from environmental emergencies to elevator rescues to public education.

Boudrow and Palardy were among the 24 graduates from 20 departments across the state to graduate the program.
