Lexington Man Arrested for Burlington Mall Bank Robbery

Police arrested John Stocki at a Lexington residence on Friday, Oct. 19, a day after he allegedly robbed the Bank of America at the Burlington Mall.

A Lexington man was a arrested today, Oct. 19, in connection to last night's robbery of the Bank of America in the Burlington Mall.

As reported on Patch, at approximately 4:40 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 18, the Burlington Police Department received a phone call indicating that a robbery just occurred at the Bank of America in the Burlington Mall. Burlington Police responded along with the Massachusetts State Police and police departments from surrounding cities and towns. 

This afternoon, the Burlington Police Department informed the public an arrest had been made.

According to police, On Friday, Oct. 19, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Burlington Police detectives arrested John Stocki, 22, of Lexington, in connection with the bank robbery.

Stocki was located and arrested at a residence in Lexington. Lexington Police assisted Burlington detectives in making the arrest. Several items of evidence linking the suspect to the robbery were recovered. Stocki will be arraigned on a charge of Unarmed Robbery at Woburn District Court on Monday.
