Lexington Residents Caught Selling Pot to Cops

Arrests made after investigation by the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force.

Two Lexington twenty-somethings were arrested on drug-related charges earlier this week following what police described as a months-long investigation by the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force.

According to police, investigators executed multiple drug buys in the months leading up to the arrest of Lexington residents Kelly M. Roche, 20, and Nicholas C. Trombley.

The bust was made at Wednesday night at Trombley’s residence on Bow Street. Some cash and a small amount of marijuana were seized during the arrest, according to Lt. James Barry, a spokesman for the .

While Roche and Trombley were found in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana between them on Wednesday, police said each individual had sold drugs to members of the task force during the investigation. All sales conducted with the task force as part of this investigation took place in Lexington; it’s unclear from the police report whether Roche and Trombley were also doing business out of town.

  • Kelly M. Roche, 20, of 130 Lowell St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.
  • Nicholas C. Trombley, 22, of 32 Bow St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.
