LFD to Hold Sept. 11 Remembrance Ceremony

Remembrance ceremony to be held on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

The following is a press release from the Lexington Fire Department.

The welcomes Town residents and visitors to attend a Sept. 11 Remembrance Ceremony on the 10th anniversary on Sunday, Sept 11, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Lexington Firefighters Memorial, 45 Bedford St.

The keynote speaker will be state Sen. Ken Donnelly, D-Arlington, a former Lexington Fire Lieutenant, and now representative of the 4th Middlesex District of Massachusetts. Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
