Man Arrested for Assault and Battery, Home Break-in Reported

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, December 20-

Police arrested Marc Moshe Nezer, 78, of 50 East Street, Lexington, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.  Arrest made at 4:58 p.m.

At 12:27 a.m. there was a report of burglary/attempted breaking and entering on Ledgelawn Avenue. Resident reported someone tried to open a bathroom window. Police confirmed someone was in the back of house trying to enter but entry was not gained. Police from Burlington and Winchester K9 units assisted but track was unsuccessful.

At 10:20 a.m. police cited a driver for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked inspection sticker on Bedford Street.

At 2:38 p.m. there was a report of a small outside fire on Revolutionary Road.

At 4:19 p.m. there was a report of a stolen iPhone on Waltham Street. The theft happened sometime since December 18 and the phone was stolen from girls locker room. Value of $400.

At 6:23 p.m. there was a noise complaint on Emerson Gardens Road.

 

Saturday, December 21-

At 7:33 a.m. there was a report of a sick raccoon in the street on Lowell Street.

At 8:16 p.m. there was a report of a past breaking and entering on Waltham Street. A caller from the Brookhaven retirement community reported a breaking and entering of a unit. Entry was gained though rear screen. A laptop and desktop computer stolen. Occurred after 6:15 p.m.

At 10:55 p.m. there was a noise complaint on Judge Road.
