Man Arrested on Drug Charge, Minor Summonsed for Transporting Alcohol

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, November 14-

At 9:32 p.m. there was a report of a man slamming doors at a Bedford Street location and causing a disturbance.

Friday, November 15-

Police arrested Edward Wayne Reid, 27, of 39 Hard Street, Woburn, on charges of possession of a Class B substance (subsequent offense) and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. The arrest was made after a caller reported witnessing an altercation with a male yelling at a female. Police located the vehicle on South Ridge Avenue and police found that the driver, Reid, was operating without a license and was in possession of a Class B drug.

At 11:41 a.m. there was a report of an erratic driver on Bedford Street.

At 2:24 p.m. there was a report of identity theft by a Shade Street caller.

At 8:37 p.m. police found a minor transporting alcohol on Meriam Street. A teenage subject found to be in possession of alcohol during a traffic stop. The teen will be summonsed to court.

At 9:19 p.m. there was a report of an erratic driver on Lowell Street.
