Man Arrested on Larceny from Building Charge, Another Arrest for Drug Possession

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, January 11-

Police arrested Jeffrey Paul Smith, 23, of 212 Austin Street, Hyde Park, on charges of larceny from a building and attempting to commit a crime. Arrest made after a Main Campus Drive caller reported at 7:10 a.m. to Waltham Police that a subject had stolen money from her home and the suspect was now walking into Waltham. Waltham police located the subject and based on investigation the suspect was arrested. 

Police arrested Salvatore Joseph Ternullo, 21, of 1118 Trapelo Road, Waltham, on charge of larceny of property over $250 and trespassing. At 8:16 p.m. there was a report of larceny on Waltham Street. While on patrol an officer observed a subject taking firewood from a closed business.

At 12:12 a.m. police issued a citation to a driver on Massachusetts Avenue on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

At 11:44 a.m. police cited a driver on Concord Avenue for operating with a suspended license.

At 6:44 p.m. there was a report of a wire down on Marrett Road.

 

Sunday, January 12-

Police arrested Alexander Campos, 20, of 3129 High St., Palmer, on charges of illegal possession of a Class B substance (2 counts) and on a warrant for disorderly conduct.

Police arrested Malik Ennis, 21, of 80 Greenwood Street, Boston, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration.

At 12:14 a.m. there was a report of a suspicious person on Bow Street. Caller reports being woken by a noise. They saw a male subject wearing a hat and dark blue jacket heading toward blue minivan parked in the street. The suspect drove off and left the area. The caller thought the suspect may have taken something from a vehicle but nothing missing. The person may have just been someone cutting through the yard.

At 12:39 p.m. there was a report of dirt bikers in the road on Lincoln Street.

At 3 p.m. there was a report of fraud on Glen South Road. Resident came to the station to report they received notification of fraud on their credit card account. There was approximately $1,000 in charges on account and resident says two cards stolen from purse.

At 4:47 p.m. there was a report of a large pothole on Lowell Street.
