Multiple Motor Vehicle Break-Ins, $11K Guitar Stolen

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, September 17-

At 9:22 a.m. a Dover Lane caller reported a suspicious person. Caller reported someone walked through their yard but was town water meter reader.

At 12:05 p.m. a caller at Wilson's Farm reported someone stole tomatoes.

At 5:13 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run accident with property damage on Woburn Street.

Wednesday, September 18-

At 9:19 a.m. a caller from Ipswitch reported the theft of electronics. Four tablet computers, four cell phone and a Blue Tooth keyboard were stolen from employees while they attended a meeting. 

Thursday, September 19-

 At 7:30 a.m. a caller reported a breaking of entering of a motor vehicle and Cary Avenue. A window was broken and a coach bag stolen. 

At 8 a.m. a Nickerson Road caller reported a motor vehicle breaking and entering. A sunroof was broken and a wallet was stolen.

At 8:22 a.m. an Eastabrook road caller reported a motor vehicle breaking and entering. Sometime overnight a front window was smashed and a pocketbook and wallet were taken. Police officers located the items in side yard down the street. 

At 8:27 a.m. a Cedar Street caller reported a motor vehicle breaking and entering. A window was smashed and a laptop and GPS unit were stolen. 

At 9:41 a.m. a caller from Music Emporium reported the past larceny of two guitars. One guitar was worth $4,000 and the other was worth $11,000. 

At 4:12 p.m. a School Street caller reported a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. A window was smashed and a purse was taken. A mail carrier found the purse and brought it to police.
