North Reading Woman Arrested for Conspiracy to Burn a Building

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, September 13-

Arrests:

Police arrested Jyari Powell, 19, of 111 Locust St., Woburn, on a charge of domestic assault and battery. A caller reported an altercation in the street with a male attempting to force a female into a vehicle. Police found the couple having an argument and as a result the male was placed under arrest.

Police arrested Jon Renaud, 33, of 127 Carson Avenue, Dalton, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and making a prohibited turn.

Police arrested David James Silva, 52, of Family Camp, Bedford, on a charge of being a disorderly person. Silva was arrested after yelling and walking in traffic.

Police arrested Benjamin Richard Wobbe, 20, of 197 Bedford St., Lexington, on a charge of trespassing.

Other incidents

At 5:36 p.m. there was a report of larceny from a girls locker room on Marret Road. System principal at Minuteman High School reports lockers in a girls locker room were entered between 3:30 and 5:50 p.m. Missing was cash, sandals, a backpack and two iPhones.

Monday, September 16-


At 7:31 a.m. a caller reported theft from a building on Hayden Avenue. The larceny was of an iPhone. Employee at a Hayden Avenue business reported that over the weekend someone took her phone from office. Officers tracked the iPhone into Newton and then into Waltham. They located the iPhone and it was allegedly found by someone cleaning in the office.

At 1:06 p.m. a caller reported a theft of two laptops from a building on Maguire Road. Business on Maguire road reported two laptop were stolen out of the building. Value around $1,000. No signs of forced entry. The incident is under investigation.

At 5:32 p.m. there was a report of assault and battery on Clemantis Road. a party came to the station to report he was assaulted on Sept. 15. Under investigation.
