Police Log: Drugs, Weapons, Arrests and a Rock

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Feb. 11

11:59 a.m. – Police responded to a reported hit-and-run accident on Cranberry Hill Road.

12:20 p.m. – A call came in reporting a snow bank on fire on Woburn Street. The responding officer reported nothing found.

1:36 p.m. – A cruiser checked out a report of someone throwing snow into the street on Waltham Street.

2:33 p.m. – A call came in reporting a large, dead animal near the front door of a Waltham Street residence. It turned out to be a rock, the police report said.

5:15 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Hartwell Avenue and Maguire Road.

9:15 p.m. – Erratic operation of a motor vehicle was reported in the area of Marrett Road and Old Mass Ave.

Tuesday, Feb. 12

7:55 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the middle of Grant Street at Hayes Lane due to the snow.

10:13 a.m. – A call came in reporting a mother-daughter argument in the area of Waltham Street and Worthen Road.

1:35 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a car parked too close to the intersection of Mass Ave and Plainfield Street.

10:26 p.m. – A noise complaint came in regarding snow dumping on Concord Avenue.

Wednesday, Feb. 13

12:45 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Mass Ave and Hunt Road, Ernesto A. Flores, 32, of 11 Brattle St., Arlington, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle without his license and marked lanes violation.

7:15 a.m. – Police responded to a report of copper stolen from a construction site on Concord Ave.

10:45 a.m. – As a result of an investigation into checks stolen from a Laurel Street resident, Colleen M. McCarthy, 39, of 1 Colonial Village Drive, Arlington, was arrested and charged with larceny from a building and uttering a forged document.

1:10 p.m. – Police responded to a report of larceny involving “underperformed carpentry work” on Ledgelawn Avenue. The matter remains under investigation.

3:58 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident was reported in the area of Bedford Street and Hartwell Avenue.

8 p.m. – A cell phone was reported stolen from Mass Ave.

Thursday, Feb. 14

8:59 a.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle in the area of Bedford Street and Larchmont Lane.

9:29 a.m. – A parking complaint came in from Mass Ave and Lisbeth Street.

12:35 p.m. – Police responded to Turning Mill Road, where a truck was reportedly caught up in the wires.

4:48 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Worthen Road.

5:19 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Bedford Street, Cameron Michael Maron, 19, of 528 Fox Hollow Drive, Hudson, N.H, was arrested and charged with operating after his license was suspended.

9:56 p.m. – After a patrol officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in a private parking lot where No Trespassing signs were clearly posted, two Waltham residents were arrested on multiple charges. Christopher Paul Healy, 24, of 116 Goldencrest Ave., Waltham, was arrested and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon (double-edged knife), possession of a Class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute, illegal possession of a Class B substance (cocaine) and trespassing. Jeffrey Joseph Healy, 23, of 116 Goldencrest Ave., Waltham, was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a Class B substance.
