Police Log: $500 in Coins Reported Stolen, a Drive-By Paintballing and More

Monday, July 29

12:01 a.m. – A fireworks complaint came in from the area of Joseph Comee Road and Lothrop Circle.

11:01 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a dog left in a vehicle on Hayden Avenue.

11:47 a.m. – An attempted breaking-and-entering was reported on Blake Road.

5:11 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Route 128-95.

8:58 p.m. – Charles E. Trombley, 55, of 32 Bow St., Lexington, was arrested on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.

Tuesday, July 30

8:51 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Hill Street and Diana Lane.

2:48 p.m. – An older woman was reported missing from Spring Street.

5:52 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Mass Ave. 10:38 p.m. – A suspicious motor vehicle was reported in the area of Hartwell Avenue and Wood Street.

Wednesday, July 31

7:42 a.m. – Police responded to a report of vandalism at Lexington Toyota on Mass Ave. According to the incident report, sometime during the previous night, the building and eight new vehicles were shot with paintballs. There was no permanent damage to building or vehicles, according to police. The incident is under investigation.

1:24 p.m. – About $500 in coins were reportedly stolen from a business on School Street. There was no sign of forced entry, according to the incident report. The incident is under investigation.

1:37 p.m. – A past breaking-and-entering was reported from Greeley Village.

9:11 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic on Mass Ave.

Thursday, Aug. 1

8:59 a.m. – Police responded to Crescent Hill Avenue for a report of a child’s hand caught in a car door.

10:11 a.m. – Police responded to a report of paint spilled in the roadway in the area of Mass Ave and Worthen Road.

11:06 a.m. – A call came in from Grimes Road reporting dirtbikers on conservation land.

1:27 p.m. – A possible breaking-and-entering in progress was reported on Todd Road.

4:01 p.m. – Police responded to a reported past hit-and-run accident in the area of Mass Ave and Oak Street.

7:13 p.m. – A parking complaint came in from East Street.
