Police Log: A Stolen Bike, Drunk Guy Goes to the Wrong House and More

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Aug. 12

10:13 a.m. – Police responded to a reported residential lockout on Rolling Lane.

10:28 a.m. – A custodian at the Senior Center reported hearing what sounded like someone running from the building when he opened up around 7:30 a.m. The responding officer reported there was nothing missing from the premises and no one in the area.

11:05 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford and Eldred streets.

4:23 p.m. – A parking complaint came in from Burlington Street.

5:20 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Woburn Street and Mass Ave.

6:19 p.m. – A pat hit-and-run accident reportedly occurred in a municipal lot.

9:40 p.m. – A suspicious motor vehicle was reported in the area of Oakmount Circle.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

5:17 a.m. – A noise complaint came in from Bloomfield Street.

8:30 a.m. – A Whipple Road resident called to complain about a loud motorcycle that travels down the street every night.

7:34 p.m. – Police responded to a reported disturbance on Grant Street.

Wednesday, Aug. 14

9:21 a.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Pleasant Street.

11:21 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Route 128/95.

3:23 p.m. – A breaking-and-entering was reported on Bedford Street.

4:33 p.m. – Police responded to a reported customer dispute on Woodpark Circle.

6 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on School Street.

7:10 p.m. – An attempted breaking-and-entering was reported on Bedford Street.

10:40 p.m. – A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Robinson Road.

Thursday, Aug. 15

3:20 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a person knocking on the front door of a Webster Street residence. As a result, a 21-year-old Lexington man was taken into protective custody.  

7:52 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Route 128 north.

8:52 a.m. – Polcie responded to a reported past breaking-and-entering at a residence on Route 2 that occurred several weeks earlier. The incident is under investigation.

12:01 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 2 and Waltham Street.

12:44 p.m. – A bicycle was reported stolen on Mass Ave.

9:59 p.m. – A parking complaint came in from Turning Mill Road.

10:25 p.m. – Police responded to a reported noise complaint from Judges Road.
