Police Log: An Uncooperative Parent and an Alleged Robbery

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 16

8:13 a.m. – A parking complaint came in reporting an allegedly illegally parked vehicle on Mass Ave.

12:42 p.m. – Police were called to Clarke Middle School for a report of an uncooperative parent. According to police, a student’s father was unhappy about not being allowed to observe his child’s classroom. The situation calmed, and the man reportedly said he’d go about the proper procedure for observing a classroom, police said.

4:02 p.m. – Following an eviction from a Winchester Drive apartment, a property owner reported a former tenant damaged the property she was leaving.

5:19 p.m. – A bicycle was reportedly stolen from Woburn Street.

5:31 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Mass Ave and Paul Revere Road.

Saturday, Nov. 17

10:27 a.m. – A Lexington teen reported three black males robbed him of his iPhone when he was meeting his friends in the municipal lot behind CVS in Lexington Center the previous night. The incident is under investigation.

12:13 p.m. – Police responded to a reported two-car motor vehicle accident in the area of Mass Ave and Winthrop Road. One vehicle was towed, and its driver cited.

1:14 p.m. – A Lincoln woman reported that, while at Blue Hair Salon on Muzzey Street, her iPhone 5 was stolen from her unattended purse.

 1:40 p.m. – Police responded to a reported breaking and entering to an unlocked motor vehicle on Blossomcrest Road.

Sunday, Nov. 18

8:49 a.m. – A noise complaint came in regarding a roofing crew working on Whipple Road.

9:26 a.m. – Police responded to a reported larceny involving a purse missing on Marrett Road.

10:43 a.m. – A bicyclist was reportedly struck by motor vehicle on Lincoln Street.

10:56 a.m. – A noise complaint came in regarding construction work on Hamilton Road.

4:09 p.m. – Breaking and entering and larceny form a motor vehicle on Russell Road.

7:20 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Adams Street.

7:59 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Valleyfield Street.
