Police Log: Construction Workers Brawl, Students Smoke and Steal

The following information was not provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 10

7:44 a.m. – A Reed Street resident reported coming home after dropping her son off at school to find a man walking out of her house. Police responded to the scene and located the man walking down the street. Based on evidence and statements, Michael J. Parker, 49, of 56 Broadway St., Somerville, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony. He was also taken into protective custody.

10:32 a.m. – Police responded to a reported fight between workers at a house under construction on Oakland Street. Dalberte F. Narciso, 27, of 31 Blithwood Ave., Worcester, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. According to police, the fight erupted after an argument over money, and Narciso allegedly struck the other man in the face with a sanding pole and kicked him. Narciso was arrested and the other man transported to the hospital.

6:13 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Route 128/95.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

9:46 a.m. – A call came in complaining about a vehicle parked halfway in front of a driveway on Parker Street.

12:38 p.m. – Police responded to a reported hit-and-run accident on Bedford Street.

5:42 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford and Hancock streets.

Wednesday, Dec. 12

11:47 a.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Bedford Street.

12:33 p.m. – Two Minuteman students reported a white female in a hoodie stole their cell phones. Police are investigating.

3:27 p.m. – The school resource officer at Lexington High found a teen in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. The teen received a civil citation.

9:01 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Waltham Street.

Thursday, Dec. 13

7:30 a.m. – A Concord Avenue resident reported that sometime overnight a rock was thrown through a double-pane bay window at the residence.

11:04 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Blinn Road.

2:27 p.m. – A suspicious motor vehicle was reported in the area of Blossomcrest Road and Crest Circle.

6:04 p.m. – Police responded to a reported accident in which a UPS truck struck a fire hydrant on Bedford Street. By the time responders got there, the hydrant was down but truck was no longer stuck.

6:10 p.m. – Police responded to a report of vehicles blocking the bikeway on Hartwell Avenue.

9:05 p.m. – A call came in reporting a van parked on the sidewalk in the area of Oakland and Chandler streets.
