Police Log: Drug Arrests, OUIs and a Host of Parking Copmlaints

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Feb. 15

8:04 a.m. – Police responded to a reported larceny on Lowell Street.

8:57 a.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic on Woburn Street. Diane M. Jackson, 59, of 294 Woburn St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with assault and battery by dangerous weapon.

1:32 p.m. – A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Katahdin Drive.

2:14 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Concord Avenue and Pleasant Street.

3:32 p.m. – Police assisted the drug task force in arresting two Waltham men on Hayden Avenue. Eleazar Fernandez, 31, of 66 Graymore Road, Waltham, was arrested and charged with distribution of a Class A substance. Daniel E. White, 26, of 24 Eddy St., Waltham, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute. 

4:35 p.m. – Police responded to a report of prescription slips on Bedford Street.

9:32 p.m. – A call came in reporting overnight parking on Sylvia Street.

Saturday, Feb. 16

1:01 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Mass Ave and Percy Road, Jeniell V. Postell, 31, of 61 Memorial Park Ave., Lynn, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, defective headlight, defective taillight and open container violation.

4:01 a.m. – Police checked on two people standing out on Bedford Street and, as a result, Katrina M. Lotti, 23, of 323 Kelton St., Alston, was arrested on a Watertown warrant for possession of a Class B substance and cited for noncriminal possession of marijuana.

8:44 a.m. – As a result of a two-car accident in the area of Bedford Street and Hartwell Avenue, Anibal Gozalez-Burgos, 26, of 18A Everett Ave., Chelsea, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and red light violation.

3:42 p.m. – Police responded to a reported past breaking and entering on Main Campus Drive.

Sunday, Feb. 17

9:15 a.m. – A parking complaint came in regarding a car blocking snow removal on Anthony Road.

11:11 a.m. – Police responded to a parking complaint reporting a plow couldn’t get down Meriam Street.

2:30 p.m. – A Peacock Farm Lane resident reported the mailbox was split, possibly after being hit by a plow.

3:02 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in which a vehicle struck a tree on Davis Road.

5:31 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a vehicle into a snow bank on Hartwell Avenue.

8:30 p.m. – Police checked on a vehicle in a church parking lot on Old Spring Street. Three minors were located in the vehicle, along with a bottle of wine and some drug paraphernalia. One Lexington resident will be summonsed for minor in possession.
