Construction Equipment Missing

10:08 a.m. – A Marrett Road resident reported discovering, on Monday, Sept. 24, that there was some construction equipment missing from his backyard. The man told police he thought his son might have borrowed the equipment, but after checking with him, realized he had not.

They Don’t Make Graffiti Like They Used To

12:58 p.m. – Police responded to a report of graffiti written in spray paint and magic marker on basketball courts on Worthen Road. Among the vandalism was a rather vulgar declaration that “Justin Bieber is better than Tupac” ... as a Lady Killer.

Domestic Dispute Leads to Unusual Motor Vehicle Offenses

2:01 p.m. – A Lexington woman walked into the station to report a domestic between her and her husband. Subsequently, police made a traffic stop, in the area of Lowell Street and Lillian Road, where the woman was driving her husband’s vehicle and allegedly arguing with her husband who was walking alongside it. As a result of that motor vehicle stop, the woman, who was driving was transported to her home, and her husband, who was walking, was issued a citation for allowing his wife to operate an uninsured vehicle with revoked registration.

11:27 p.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle on Bedford Street.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

More Tools Missing from Construction Sites

10:45 a.m. – Police responded to a reported larceny on Kendall Road. A worker reported a 12-inch chop saw and compressor and nail gun and finish nail gun and two compressor hoses were missing from a job site on Kendall Road. It is under investigation.

Missing In Inaction

12:34 p.m. – A Gleason Road resident reported that, sometime since the 2011 holiday season, one of her bracelets has gone missing. Police are investigating.

2:28 p.m. – Police responded to a reported breaking-and-entering on Katahdin Drive.

3:09 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Hartwell Avenue.

Most Writers Aren’t Hacks Until After They Publish

3:39 p.m. – A Main Campus Drive resident reported her computer was hacked and some material for a book she was writing has gone missing. It’s under investigation.
