Police Log: One House Egged, Another 'Ransacked' and a Prostitution Arrest
The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Feb. 18
10:10 a.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported in the area of Waltham Street and Hayden Avenue.
12:17 p.m. – A Williams Road resident reported his house and vehicle were egged sometime overnight, causing damage to a screen door and windshield.

3:56 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Hartwell Avenue.
Tuesday, Feb. 19

9:14 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Bedford Street.
1:11 p.m. – A Cliffe Avenue residence was reportedly broken into and ransacked. Returned after 2 weeks away. Items reported missing include an old laptop and some jewelry.
8:06 p.m. – Police carried out a prostitution sting at a Bedford Street hotel. Caitlynn Leigh Spaulding, 23, of 368 Essex St., Saugus, was arrested and charged with prostitution, possession of a stun gun and a warrant out of Gloucester for receiving stolen property. According to the incident report, investigators found her through an online advertisement and later, during the arrest, found a stun gun by the nightstand next to the bed in her hotel room.
Wednesday, Feb. 20
8:32 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported two-car accident in the area of Bedford Street and Route 128/95.
9:12 a.m. – A Williams Road residence was reportedly egged.
12:19 p.m. – A generator was reportedly stolen from Allen Street.
3:51 p.m. – Police responded to a report of erratic operation of a motor vehicle in the area of Mass Ave and Depot Square.
7:43 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Woburn Street, police learned the operator had marijuana in the vehicle.
Thursday, Feb. 21
10:42 a.m. – A campaign sign was reported stolen from Lincoln Street.
11:23 a.m. – Animal control was notified of a complaint about barking dogs on Wood Street.
2:32 p.m. – Police responded to reported verbal argument between a father and son on Bertwell Road.
9:07 p.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation on Maple Street.
