Police Log: Property Found, A Mailbox Damaged and a Man Missing

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Dec. 14

9:40 a.m. – A womens wallet was reportedly found on Bedford Street.

10:10 a.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at the park on Garfield Street.

12:59 p.m. – A bicycle was reportedly found in the area of Mass Ave and Edison Way.

1:08 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported hit-and-run accident in the area of Bedford Street and Route 128/95.

3:45 p.m. – Police checked out a report of a motor vehicle parked in the woods off Main Campus Drive.

7:49 p.m. – Police checked out a report of a suspicious motor vehicle on Katahdin Drive.

Saturday, Dec. 15

2:58 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a house party on Fletcher Avenue.

2:50 p.m. – Police responded to a reported hit-and-run accident on Mass Ave.

4:03 p.m. – A cruiser checked the area of Pleasant Street for a report of dirt bikes in the area.

5:15 p.m. – A woman came into came into the station to report her husband had been missing for approximately 24 hours, and was believed to have been at the Boston Sports Club the previous day. The man was reportedly arrested in another town.  

7:15 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Route 128/95 and issued a citation to one motorist.

Sunday, Dec. 16

3:36 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a damaged mailbox on Paul Revere Road.

10:18 a.m. – A parking complaint came in regarding a car in the roadway in the area of Mass Ave and Harrington Road.

3:31 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a car skidding into the island at Adams and Hancock streets.

5:47 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Lowell Street.

8:14 p.m. – A Sullivan Street resident requested advice regarding her brother, who allegedly made some threatening statements toward their parents, who live in Falmouth. Falmouth PD advised, and the family advised of their options.
