Police Log: Prostitution Arrest, Fireworks Complaints and More

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 2

2:16 p.m. – As a result of an investigation at a business on School Street, Suhua Shao, 52, was arrested on prostitution charges. At the time of her arrest, police said, it was unclear whether she had a legal address in the United States.

2:18 a.m. –A motor vehicle stop in the area of Mass Ave and Muzzey Street led to the arrest of two young men. Jacob Zachary Dores-Lahti, 20, of 158 Madison Ave., Arlington, was arrested and charged with minor transporting liquor and civilly cited for marijuana possession. And Taylor James Rush, 19, of 20 Avon St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended, minor transporting liquor, marked lanes violation and cited civilly for possession of marijuana.

11:54 a.m. – Police responded to Bow Street for a reported domestic.

8:02 p.m. – A parking complaint came in from the area of Lincoln Street and Hastings Road.

9:46 p.m. – A fireworks complaint came in from Bridge Street.

10:14 p.m. – A fireworks complaint came in from Hilltop Ave.

10:23 p.m. – A fireworks complaint came in from Main Campus Drive.

Friday, July 5

12:44 a.m. – Police responded to a reported breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle on Potter Pond.

1:03 a.m. – A noise complaint came in from Moon Hill Road.

2:47 a.m. – A fireworks complaint came in from Philip Road.

6:44 a.m. – Police responded to a report of people sleeping on benches on Marrett Road.

10:05 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Mass Ave and Joseph Road.

4:12 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Hillcrest Avenue.

4:55 p.m. – A breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle was reported at Captain Parker Arms.

11:53 p.m. – The Sheriff’s office reported an ex-inmate was staying in Lexington and had possibly cut himself. Police located the man in the Bedford Street area, and transported him to Lahey Clinic.

Saturday, July 6

10:25 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in which a car reportedly rolled out of its driveway on Wildwood Road.

7:30 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Concord Ave and April Lane, James C Trano, 44, of 52 Pleasant St., Lexington, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended.

7:41 p.m. – Police responded to a reported customer dispute on Bedford Street.

8:58 p.m. – A noise complaint came in from Lowell Street, reporting loud music in the area.

Sunday, July 7

12:06 p.m. – Police responded to a reported customer dispute on Bedford Street.

2:15 p.m. – Police responded to a reported road rage incident in the area of Mass Ave and Clarke Street.

5:48 p.m. – A house was reportedly egged on Summit Road.

9:23 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated man in the area of Main Campus Drive.
