Police Log: Scooter Crash Sends One to Hospital, Toy Truck Not Stolen

Friday, Nov. 9
11:12 a.m. – Police were notified of a reported traffic light issue in the area of Lowell and Maple streets.
11:39 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Hartwell Avenue.

11:57 a.m. – Police responded to a report of change taken from an unlocked vehicle on Baskin Road.
4:21 p.m. – A report of a breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle was reported on Holton Road.

5:27 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle on Lexington Ridge Drive.
Saturday, Nov. 10
3:33 a.m. – An officer reported noticing a generator with wires stolen on Hartwell Avenue.
9:13 a.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Middle Street.
10:56 a.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of Bedford Street.
12:58 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Hartwell Avenue.
2 p.m. – Police responded to a reported accident involving a motor scooter on Maple Street. The scooter’s male operator was transported to Lahey Clinic after the one vehicle collision.
3:55 p.m. – A Bellflower Street resident reported a Hess truck had been stolen. Turns out, the toy was not stolen, and was found in the resident’s car, the police report said.
4:27 p.m. – Police investigated a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries on Lowell Street.
11:17 p.m. – A parking complaint came in from Goffe Road regarding an unknown vehicle parked in a driveway there.
Sunday, Nov. 11
8:48 a.m. – A noise complaint came in regarding construction work going on in the area of Asbury Street and Homestead.
5:39 p.m. – Police responded to a report of past breaking-and-enterings to two motor vehicles in the area of White Pine Lane.
6:30 p.m. – A call came in reporting a hit-and-run accident on North Street.
11:28 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Lowell Street, Stephen M. Carcione, 69, of 16 Salem Ave., Woburn, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.
