Police Log: Stolen Tools, a Missing Man and a Rollerblader Hospitalized

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Aug. 6

12:14 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Worthen Road.

3:25 p.m. – A man came into the station to report tools were taken from a trailer parked on Pearl Street.

8:21 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Lowell Street.

9:46 p.m. – Police responded to a report of youths drinking and causing a disturbance on Stedman Road. Joseph A. Stocki, 19, of 16 Webster Road, was arrested and charged with minor transporting alcohol.  An underage female was released into the custody of her mother, police said.

10:06 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a male and female arguing in the street in the area of Dane and Foster roads.

11:38 p.m. – A cruiser checked out a report of a person in a house under construction on Victory Garden Way.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

2:52 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident causing property damage was reported on Fairlawn Lane.

6:08 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Crescent Road.

7:41 p.m. – Am employee from a business on Cranberry Hill Road called to relay concerns about a co-worker who had left on his desk a note with some possibly suicidal statements. Multiple agencies assisted in a search of the area for the man, who had reportedly left walking a dog. After 11 p.m. that evening, he was located at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, where he was reportedly checking himself in to get checked out.

8:35 p.m. – Suspicious motor vehicles were reported in the area of North Street.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

12:23 a.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Cliffe Avenue.

10:05 a.m. – A wallet was reported stolen from Mass Ave.

3:45 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle vs. rollerblader accident in the area of Hancock Street and the Minuteman Bikeway. The rollerblader was transported to the hospital and the accident is under investigation.

9:26 p.m. – A lamppost was reportedly knocked over during an alleged hit-and-run accident on Tavern Road.

10:26 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Hartwell Avenue.

11:35 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Marrett road.
