Police Log: Suspicious Men, with Beards and Balloons, and A Few Arrests

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Jan. 11

9:36 a.m. – Police responded to a Golden Avenue residence for a report of a rear windshield smashed by a projectile, possibly a BB.

1:21 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Thoreau Road.

5:13 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Mass Ave.

5:50 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Bedford Street, David Richard Whaland, 31, of 14 Sunny Knoll Terrace, Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended.

6:42 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Bedford Street.

9:22 p.m. – A loud party was reported on Peacock Farm Road.

10:05 p.m. – Police executed a warrant arrest in the area of Waltham Street and Concord Ave. in which Raheem Joseph Hercule, 20, of 6203 Lexington Ridge Drive, Lexington, was arrested on a default warrant out of Chelmsford for larceny over $250.

Saturday, Jan. 12

12:36 a.m. – Officers responded to a reported motor vehicle accident involving a deer in the area of Eldred and Justin streets.

1:55 a.m. – A noise complaint came in from Lexington Ridge Drive.

6:42 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Spring and Grassland streets, Victor Y. Sanchez Hernandez, 26, of 80 Frances St., Waltham, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license.

10:18 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Mass Ave and Gibson Road.

11:16 a.m. – Police responded to a report of an older, possibly intoxicated black man harassing customers at a Mass Mass Ave laundromat. According to the police report, it turned out to be a medical issue and the man was transported to the hospital.

1:47 p.m. – A suspicious, bearded white man in a baseball cap was reportedly walking around a house in the area of Concord Ave and Spring Street. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate the man in question.

7:27 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Waltham Street and Piper Road, Christopher Compho, 21, of 20 Oak St., Milton was arrested and charged with operating after his license was suspended.

11:55 p.m. – Police responded to Lexington Ridge Drive for a reported domestic dispute.

Sunday, Jan. 13

1:51 a.m. – Police responded to a reported alcohol poisoning on Moreland Avenue and obtained a patient refusal.

11:18 a.m. – Police responded to Robinson Road for a reported civil dispute between a tenant and landlord.

1:33 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a man with a beard giving out balloons on Mass Ave, but were unable to locate him.

8:45 p.m. – A cruiser checked out a vehicle with an open trunk on Mass Ave.
