UPDATED: Police Searched for B-and-E Suspect in Harrington School Area
Lexington Police, with the assistance of K9 units from Burlington and Westford began searching for an attempted breaking-and-entering suspect shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday night.

Lexington Police said earlier today that investigators were unable to locate the suspect sought in the Sunday night seach following an attempted breaking-and-entering on John Hosmer Road. The investigation is ongoing.

As much of America sits glued to television sets watching the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers battle it out in Super Bowl XLVII, police in Lexington are busy searching for a suspect in an attempted breaking-and-entering.
According to Lt. Det. Michael McLean, an alarm company called shortly after 9 p.m. tonight, Feb. 3, to report activity at a John Hosmer Lane residence. The homeowner there told police it looked like someone attempted to break into the rear of the home shortly before taking off.

As of just before 10 p.m. Lexington Police, with assistance from other local departments, are searching the Harrington School neighborhood for the suspect who may still be in the area.
Lexington Police have set up a perimeter, while K9s from the Burlington and Westford Police departments attempt to track a scent and search the area.
