Purse Stolen at Restaurant, Man Arrested on Motor Vehicle Charges

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, January 13-

At 2:29 p.m. there was a report of larceny from a building on Mass. Avenue. A resident came to the station to report her wallet was stolen out of her purse at Panera Bread sometime between 1:15 and 2:30 p.m. The purse was on the back of a chair. Credit cards already used in Woburn.  

At 5:11 p.m. there was a report of larceny from a building on Marrett Road. Caller reports $70 taken from her wallet that was inside pocket book at Minuteman School during basketball game.

At 5:49 p.m. there was a complaint about solicitors on Dudley Road.

Tuesday, January 14-

Police arrested Nicholas Joseph Dumont, 32, of 10 Woodbury Drive, Nashua, NH, on charges of operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to obey signs/signals.

At 8:08 a.m. there was a report of a low hanging wire on Belfry Terrace.

At  6:15 p.m. there was a report of a large pothole on Shire Way.
